DECT Based Wireless Intercom System
The Based Wireless Intercom System is a digital wireless intercom that complies with the DECT standard (ARIB STD-T101).
Product Features
- Each system has 4 groups of audio circuits and can connect 10 handsets per antenna. The maximum number of handsets that can be connected in one system is 60 for simultaneous talk handsets alone, and 176 handsets can be connected when combined with command-receiving handsets, allowing for a large-scale system configuration.
- DECT Based Wireless Intercom System Portable type combines the functions of the parent unit and main unit, and can connect up to 10 handsets, making it possible to create two call groups.
As it is battery-powered, it can be used outdoors where a power supply is not available. - Features1:10 handsets can be connected to one active antenna.
10 handsets (MK-B96A) can be connected to one active antenna (MK-A96).
Also, it is one of the first to support ARIB STD-T101 version 2.0.
The maximum number of simultaneous call handsets that can be used in one system is 60.
Furthermore, by using the "command receiving mode", it is possible to connect 48 simultaneous talking handsets and 128 command receiving handsets.
* When set to "Command Reception Mode", up to eight simultaneous communication handsets can be connected to one active antenna. - Features2:The handset can listen to multiple call groups simultaneously
The handset is equipped with two volume knobs, A and B.You can listen to multiple call groups at the same time. You can also set up a program (PGM) instead of a call group.
* You can select and set "2 group simultaneous listening + fixed PGM" or "1 group listening + variable PGM". - Features3:1.9GHz, DECT system adopted.
There is no interference with 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands such as Wi-Fi. In addition, when 1.9GHz radio waves such as existing PHS are detected, the channel is automatically changed to reduce the risk of interference.
Compared to the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, the frequency is lower (= the wavelength is longer), so diffraction is stronger, making it easier for radio waves to travel around obstructions. - Features4:Active antennas can also be cascaded
A LAN cable is used between the main controller (MK-C96) and the active antennas.
The active antennas can also be cascaded, just like previous models.*EIA/TIA568 Cat5e or higher recommended.
In addition, the distance can be extended up to 2.5 km using optical fiber cable. - Features5:Clear, high-quality sound
Achieves clear, high-quality sound. Audio frequency response is 100Hz to 7kHz. - Features6:Equipped with a "seamless handover function" that ensures sound is not interrupted.
By connecting with two active antennas during handover, uninterrupted calls are possible.
Main Applications
"DECT Based Wireless Intercom System" is Tamura Corporation's new digital wireless intercom system that inherits the intercom system technologies developed over time and complies with the new DECT format (ARIB STD- T101 Ver.2.0).
DECT Based Wireless Intercom System allows for improved convenience and large-scale system design, while maintaining the usability that enables intuitive operation.
DECT Based Wireless Intercom System is a communication tool that achieves both innovation and familiarity.

Features
- The main controller allows for both touch-panel control and knob-based adjustments that inherit Tamura's previous intercom series.
- Audio lines can be organized into 4 groups per system.
The main controller is equipped with 4W/2W external connections, which make linking with wired intercom systems as easy as before. - Ethernet cable is used for the communication line between the antenna and the main controller. In addition, an optical cable is used to support longer distances, which can be extended to a maximum of 2.5km.
When a PoEHUB is used, Ethernet cable also allows for a star network configuration. - 10 personal stations can be connected per antenna, and up to 60 personal stations can be connected per system for simultaneous calls only.
When combined with dedicated command-receiving devices, a total of 176 personal stations (48 personal stations for simultaneous calls and 128 personal stations for receiving commands) can be connected so as to enable large-scale system configuration. - Up to 16 antennas can be connected per main controller. When connecting 5 or more cell stations, connecting the main controller to the power supply can supply the power to all of the antennas.
- Seamless handover is adopted for the movement of personal stations between antennas.
As the next antenna is detected beforehand, the seamless handover enables smooth transfer between antennas and seamless communication during station movements. - Two audio groups can be assigned to the personal station to allow you to listen to the two groups simultaneously.
Each volume adjuster is operated through knob control, which has been a popular feature of Tamura's previous intercom systems.
It allows you to adjust the volume intuitively and respond instantly without the need to look at equipment when busy in the field. - The system uses the 1.9-GHz band (DECTARIB STD-T101 Ver.2.0), which does not overlap the Wi-Fi or other bands, reducing crosstalk.
The system also reduces the crosstalk risk by channel transfer, when detecting any radio wave for an existing PHS or Tamura's previous digital wireless intercom systems.

- *PHS radio stations and different types of radio stations for digital cordless telephones operate in the operating frequency band of this equipment. Due consideration has been given to this equipment so as to prevent radio wave interference with other radio stations that use the same frequency band. However, should the equipment cause any harmful radio wave interference to another radio station, immediately stop emitting radio waves, and then contact our inquiry service desk, which is provided on the back of this catalog, to discuss how to prevent such crosstalk.
