The Tamura Group commits in building optimal quality management systems for each business segment and is taking a variety of measures to further improve customer satisfaction.

Tamura Group Quality Policy

As an important topic in our 14th Medium-Term Management Plan, the basic policy of "fostering a corporate culture that emphasizes quality" was partially revised in April 2025. Under the policy of "doing good and honest work based on the Biltrite philosophy" and its materializing action guidelines (Eight Production Principles and Ten Design Precepts), all employees aim to improve the quality of their work and further improve product quality.
*Biltrite: The term was coined from the Tamura Group founder Tokumatsu Tamura's philosophy of "Building up the Right," meaning "making good and honest products," and is imbued with a strong desire for quality. At the time of Tamura Group's founding, it was also a brand name for products of the highest grade.

Quality Assurance System

In order to meet the diverse needs of customers in different business fields, the Tamura Group has established optimal quality assurance systems for each of its business segments: electronic components, electronic scientific mounting, and information equipment.
In addition, we regularly hold quality education and quality promotion conferences for all business divisions in an effort to raise quality awareness throughout the group, and we hold quality meetings that cross each business division to share quality information and best practices and work on preventive measures for quality issues.

Status of Acquisition of Quality Management System Certification

The Tamura Group has acquired ISO9001 certification at its factories and affiliated companies. ISO9001 is used for daily quality control, quality improvement, and prevention of quality issues. It is the key to our quality management activities that allow us to provide products that satisfy our customers.
To meet the needs of our automotive customers, some facilities have also acquired IATF 16949 certification (a quality management system for the automobile industry).

Participation in Exhibitions

To deliver greater customer satisfaction, the Tamura Group proactively participates in domestic and overseas exhibitions to strengthen communication with customers. In FY2024, we will continue to exhibit at various domestic and international exhibitions, showcasing the technological capabilities of One TAMURA and attracting many visitors.
