Notice Regarding Completion of Equity Transfer of an Equity-Method Affiliate
Tamura Corporation (the “Company”) announced in its notice dated September 1, 2025 (partially corrected on September 2, 2025), titled “Notice Regarding Transfer of Equity Method Affiliate (Transfer of Equity Interest),” that it would transfer all shares of Hefei Ecriee-Tamura Electric Co., Ltd., held by Tamura Corporation of Hong Kong Ltd., a consolidated subsidiary of the Company, to its joint venture partner, Cecb Microelectronics Technology Co., Ltd.
The transaction was completed on December 30, 2025.
As a result, Hefei Ecriee-Tamura Electric Co., Ltd. has been removed from the Company’s equity-method affiliates. Following the completion of the transfer, the company changed its name to Hefei Brainware Ec-Technology Co., Ltd.
Tamura Corporation celebrated its 100th anniversary in May 2024. Founded as a manufacturer and seller of radios and electronic components, the Company has now expanded its offerings to include electronic components such as transformers and reactors, solder pastes, solder mask, automatic soldering systems, and audio mixing consoles for broadcasting stations.
