Tamura Launches Regional Management Structure in Greater China and ASEAN to Further Strengthen Global Management Foundation
Tamura Corporation (Headquarters: Nerima-ku, Tokyo; President & COO: Mitsutaka Nakamura; hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) has launched a regional management structure in Greater China and ASEAN to further strengthen the management foundation supporting its global business operations.
The Tamura Group operates its Electronic Components and Electronic Chemicals & FA Systems businesses globally, with Greater China and ASEAN serving as key business regions that support the Group’s growth. As market conditions and customer needs continue to evolve, it has become increasingly important not only to respond to the circumstances of each individual location, but also to manage operations from a broader, region-wide perspective.
Against this backdrop, the Company has reorganized its regional management structure in Greater China and ASEAN. Under the new structure, management issues and risks within each region will be identified across locations and functions, while matters that can be addressed locally will be handled within the region. The respective roles of the headquarters in Japan, the regional management functions, and each overseas location will also be clearly defined. This will help accelerate decision-making, enable management decisions that better reflect local conditions, and further promote autonomous business operations.
As a first step, the Company will focus on establishing region-based management, with an initial focus on corporate functions such as accounting and finance, human resources, and legal affairs. It will then gradually expand the scope of regional management to include business operations, promoting closer collaboration between business and corporate functions.

the objectives and operating policies of regional management, as well as future initiatives.
Under its 14th Medium-Term Management Plan, “One TAMURA for Next 100,” the Company will strengthen its regional management capabilities and work as one Group to build a stronger management foundation that supports sustainable growth.
