Reflow Soldering System “TNV-Ver III Plus” with 50% Reduction in Maintenance Workload

Tamura Corporation (Headquarters: Nerima-ku, Tokyo; President & COO: Mitsutaka Nakamura; hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) has launched the reflow soldering system “TNV-Ver III Plus” on April 1, 2026. Positioned as a high-performance model in the TNV series, this product achieves a 50% reduction in maintenance workload and approximately 20% reduction in power consumption compared to conventional models.
The product will be exhibited at the 27th JISSO PROTEC, to be held at Tokyo Big Sight starting June 10, 2026.

In the reflow soldering process, flux generated during heating adheres to the inside of the reflow furnace, requiring regular removal. This cleaning work places a significant burden on production sites, and many customers have called for improvements in maintenance efficiency. To address these challenges, the system structure has been fundamentally redesigned. In addition to reducing the weight of the flux collection unit, the design has been simplified to facilitate easy removal and cleaning. As a result, workload has been reduced and ease of operation improved, leading to a significant reduction in maintenance requirements.

Furthermore, reflow systems account for approximately 70% of total power consumption in a mounting line, making energy efficiency a critical issue. The system features an air-cooling solution that enables highly efficient heat exchange, replacing the conventional water-cooling system with an air-cooled structure utilizing heat sinks. While maintaining the same level of cooling performance as previous models, it reduces power consumption by approximately 20%. This contributes to lower running costs and reduced CO₂ emissions.
