Tamura Corporation Hosted Community Event with Children from Nearby Nursery School to Celebrate Childrens‘s Day
Tamura Corporation (Head Office: Nerima-ku, Tokyo; President & COO: Mitsutaka Nakamura, hereinafter "Tamura") hosted a community engagement event titled “Let’s Go See the Carp Streamers-Koinobori* We Made Together” on April 24, 2026, inviting children from a nearby nursery school to its headquarters as part of its community engagement efforts.
*Koinobori is a traditional Japanese custom of flying carp-shaped streamers on May 5th the Children’s Day to celebrate children’s health and future success.

The event focused on viewing a colorful carp streamer created with the children, which was displayed in the entrance hall of the headquarters. The children enjoyed watching it, along with around 80 carp streamers suspended overhead in the courtyard, creating the impression of carp swimming freely in the air.
The carp streamers will remain on display at Tamura’s headquarters until Sunday, May 10, 2026.
