Tamura Corporation (Headquarters: Nerima-ku, Tokyo; President: Mitsutaka Nakamura; hereinafter referred to as "the Company") hereby announces that it has decided to establish a production framework for module products at its Sakado Factory (Sakado City, Saitama Prefecture), one of the Company’s production sites for its Electronic Components Business.

In this business segment, the Company develops, manufactures, and sells a wide range of electronic components, both large and small, used in the power electronics field. These include large transformers & reactors for renewable energy transmission and distribution, power distribution units (PDUs) and uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs) for data centers, and high-precision current sensors used to control the operation of inverters and other devices.
Demand for the Company’s large transformers & reactors has grown significantly, particularly for PDUs and UPSs for the U.S. data center market, driven by the expansion of AI-related industries. Module products such as current sensors and gate driver modules are also used in data center UPSs and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) equipment. Until now, module products have been manufactured exclusively at the Company’s factory in China. However, by establishing production lines at the Sakado Factory, the Company aims to respond more swiftly to customer needs and strengthen its ability to offer total solutions proposals that integrate large transformers & reactors, and module products.
